We have all relied on virtual platforms to host meetings for two years during the COVID-19 pandemic. As daily life returns to include in-person meetings, we know that continuing to offer a virtual component will appeal to many of the board members we work with. This will apply as well to the guests who often attend our meetings, such as auditors and engineers. Should anyone find themselves suddenly unable to attend a meeting in person, for whatever reason – sickness, quarantine, whatever – having the option to participate virtually, can serve as a practical alternative.
